Host of Hot Talk Live

2016 Woman of Curves Honoree

Journalist, Media Doyenne, Lifestyle Curator. Jill Tracey lives a big and diverse life. Radio talk show host, culture critic with the 411 and media doyenne with the distinction of being voted one of South Florida’s most popular personalities. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Jill’s career began as a South Beach gossip columnist, then publicist which led to radio at South Florida landmark stations, WMBM, WEDR (99 Jamz) and WHQT-HOT105.

At the height of her career at WEDR, Jill along with half of the on air staff was let go and during this unceremonious break from radio,  Jill became a reality TV personality on the Emmy award winning NBC daytime reality show Starting Over“Iyanla Fix My Life” star and noted author Iyanla Vanzant became Jill’s life coach on the show whom she says indeed helped her fix her life, start over and learn one of life’s most valuable lessons.

Her mother’s illness brought Jill back to Miami and James T. brought her back to radio.  Miss Jill Tracey can now be heard weekdays giving the 411 on the James T Show and is now the host of HOT 105 venerable community affairs program Hot Talk with Jill Tracey which she has taken from 8th place in the ratings to #1 in less than a year.

Jill says, “My experience shows me that there's nothing more powerful, more supportive, than people working together.  “There's so much real and made up to showing women being catty towards each other.  The meaner, the better.  I want no part of that.  That is not reality.  I want to empower people - women particularly, to nurture and be thankful for the love relationships provide.  An empowered woman will change her home and happy homes will change the world.  I am using all of my media platforms to be a voice in this conversation and working towards these goals."

Love you, Mean it!
